Drugstore Beauty Products Found In My Kit
No amount of glitzy packaging or designer labels can disguise when a product is sub-par. As with all things, you should never judge a book by its cover—or by the drugstore you’ve purchased it from. That’s right, some of my all-time favorite makeup and skincare comes from my local CVS. Wet-n-Wild lip liner Brandy Wine #666, Loreal Voluminous mascara, Maybelline Great Lash, Nivea moisturizer—all products that you will find in the #shelfies of women-in-the-know. Any makeup artist will tell you that a product’s value is in the formula, and the drugstore remains THE destination for cult-favorite products that get the job done beautifully.
Don’t get me wrong—I love pulling out a Tom Ford lippy, both because I love Spanish Pink but also because I adore the chic mahogany and gold packaging. Luxury beauty products will always be alluring, but they are not the only products worth reaching for these days. And the best part? Drugstore products won’t break your bank.
So what do makeup artists buy at the drugstore? I’m sharing that insider information with you, below. Make your shopping lists accordingly.
